This Fall has been filled with Fresh 48 sessions and I am loving it! I can’t wait to wrap up a few more before I go on my own maternity leave in January. Little Hogan made his appearance bright and early one morning, and these new parents were troopers! Just barely 24 hours new, I got to meet this handsome little guy!
Miss Covalee! She was the snuggliest little newborn at just 24 hours new! She slept during our entire session and already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! It was so fun to see how this precious couple quickly took to their new little one. So many times first time dads aren’t quite sure what to do, but this one was all hands on deck! The way he admired his baby girl, you can already tell they are going to have the sweetest relationship. Plus, mama was gorgeous after giving birth to her little one!
I know Fresh 48 sessions can be intimidating to have someone in your room just after giving birth. They are real and raw. But these pictures are priceless. And believe me, it’s hard to get your own pictures in those first few days even as a photographer!
The past few months have been full of these sweet hospital sessions, Fresh 48. My schedule allows me to book 1 or 2 of these a month given that they are not a session to easily plan. Little one’s arrive on their own timing which means that could be two weeks early or a week late.
How do we plan you ask? The best we can! We tentatively set a date around your due date and adjust as needed when baby boy or girl arrives! This sweet couple welcomed their precious baby boy, Hayes!
