Hayes | Westlake, TX Portrait Photography

I am one of those photographer’s that has a set of locations where I shoot outdoors. However, every once in a while a client will pull me from my norm and ask me to do a session in a location that is special to them. This was one of those sessions!

It challenges me. Pulls out my creativity. And allows me to see the beauty in a new location. This gorgeous spot was a family members backyard!

Ya’ll, I typically show up to these sessions like I am on a blind date. Sometimes I see picture beforehand, if we can, but it doesn’t always work out to be able to plan exactly where we may photograph. Plus, through in overcast skies, a bit of rain (where we had to take a break), heat, and all things social distancing right now!

Handsome little Hayes was a trooper! His first birthday pictures are precious and this little guy decided to show us his tongue for most of the session, but he’s 1!

Mary | Richardson, TX Portrait Photography

After a few reschedules due to lockdown, we were able to get this precious session done in the gorgeous wildflowers! Miss Mary’s 6 month portraits with her sweet family and grandparents! It was a joy to meet this family and capture such a special time for them! I love getting to have grandparents join for some moments too!

Mary had lots of smiles! She loved sitting and exploring the feeling of the grass. It was so nice to get back behind the camera, to photograph a growing little gal, and have interaction with new clients!

Penelope | Dallas, TX Portrait Photography

I kicked off my 2020 sessions and post shut down with this sweet family!

I took the first few months of 2020 off for maternity leave and truly relaxed, snuggled my new little boy and had lots of family time. It was good to recharge and refocus my business for this year, but never in my mind did I think I would be off until May!

Miss Penelope turned 1 in April! It has been a joy to photograph her milestones from newborn, 6 month and year. She is sweet, spunky, and has the biggest blue eyes! I loved that her little bunny joined in on some of our pictures!
